In Brizebbuga it is not just all about
shopping and bathing. Today the harbour takes in a number of cargo and container ships but it has seen some history pass through it shores. Phoenicians were one of the first to settle leaving behind the temple of Erocle. They were quickly followed by the Romans, and then the Arabs and the British used it as a base in more recent times. The buildings within the town reflect the number of influences over the years and showcase some of
Malta's history.
