Required Documents 

RZ1 form (per couple) & RZ2 form (per person) (needs to be signed and stamped by a solicitor)

Original Full version Birth Certificate, (must show both parents’ names) You will need to obtain an Apostille Stamp on this document. Please note Original certificates will be retained in Malta. 
If you need to obtain a copy, these can be obtained from your local registrar for a fee, remember to ask for the full version.
A photocopy of your passport (photo and personal details pages) signed and stamped by a solicitor.
Certificate of No Impediment from your local registrar, alternatively those born and resident in England or Wales may provide a Free Status Declaration for Citizens signed and stamped by a solicitor.
A photocopy of two witnesses’ passports (photo and personal details pages).
Should you not have any witnesses on your wedding day, we will be happy to provide them for you, with a small supplement to be paid locally in resort.
 
And if applicable:-
Original Certificate of 1st marriage,
Original Decree Absolute
Original Adoption or Change of Name Deeds
Original Certificate of Death of former spouse,
Affidavit by 3rd person drawn up in the presence of a solicitor, stating that since the death of former spouse or date of divorce, no one has re-married.

Please note all forms MUST be ORIGINAL and have an Apostille Stamp. No Photocopies will be accepted.

Catholic/Anglican Requirements

Religious ceremonies usually entail further paperwork (requiring at least 6 months notice), please see your local church secretary at your earliest opportunity.

All of the documents must be signed and dated (where relevant as indicated above) then post to Belleair Holidays Wedding Department at least 10 weeks prior to the date of ceremony, please note we will not take responsibility for the late arrival of legal documentation, any late arrival of documents may result in your wedding not taking place.

Important Notice

Please ensure that all relevant forms are signed in front of a solicitor and that the forms show the solicitor’s rubber stamp. Please note we must receive documents by 10 weeks before the wedding date but documents cannot be dated any earlier than 12 weeks before the wedding date.
The minimum residency period for Malta & Gozo is 3 working days, this does not include weekends or public holidays.
Any costs incurred by yourselves as a result of Maltese requirements are for your own account and are not part of the wedding package prices offered.
