Discover the main sights of the island of Malta!
A full day tour starts with a stop at Mosta, to visit St. Mary's Church, also known as Mosta Rotunda - this magnificent domed church is considered to be the third largest in Europe and is famous for once having an exploded bomb lodged in its dome!
Afterwards you will continue to Ta’ Qali Crafts Village, to watch local artisans produce typical Maltese ware, which includes glass, silver and filigree. Plenty of time is given for you to shop for local products, at excellent prices.
You will then proceed to the Silent City of Mdina, with its defence bastions dating back to the 9th Century. A walking tour takes you through the town, visiting St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Bastions for a panoramic view of the Island.
Afterwards you will enjoy a leisurely walk to Rabat to visit St. Paul’s Grotto - the Apostle Paul sheltered here when he was shipwrecked on the island. A typical Maltese lunch will be served in one of the village’s restaurants.
Finally you will proceed to Dingli Cliffs for a panoramic view of the coastline - excellent photo opportunities!
